Sandy Jorgensen

Biography

I grew up playing soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball, cross-country skiing, french horn and piano, but I excelled at track and field because it required no hand-eye coordination. I played soccer and ran track in college before I found ultimate.

Outside of ultimate, I’m an international trade attorney at a law firm in D.C., and my hobbies include gardening (favorite flower: gladiolus), going to estate sales with my husband (favorite purchase: Eastlake Victorian dresser), watching sports of all kinds (favorite viewing experience: Olympic track & field or Wisconsin football), and complaining about commuting by bike (favorite complaint: slow bikers passing to get in front at a red light).

Fun Facts about Sandy:

  • I have a recurring dream that I can do the splits.
  • I keep up on celebrity gossip.
  • I speak conversational Finnish.
