Colorado Springs, Colo. (July 31, 2026) – The U-20 National Teams have returned from Spain, bringing home gold and silver in the mixed and open divisions respectively.
The mixed team went undefeated across the eight-day tournament, becoming world champions in a 15-11 win over Canada. The open team claimed silver in a tough final against Canada, going down 15-12, their only loss of the tournament. And the women’s team won their last game over Belgium with a final score of 13-10, to finish 5th overall.
The World Junior Ultimate Championships featured approximately 1,000 athletes competing across three divisions in the under-20 age category. The event was hosted in Logroño, Spain, where the U.S. teams won their way to the gold, silver and a top five finish from among a field of 47 teams who represented over 20 nations.
