Colorado Springs, Colo. (January 5, 2023)—USA Ultimate published today the 2023 Beach Guidelines following its annual competition working group meeting last month.
The 2023 guidelines, which were written alongside USA Ultimate’s beach working group, primarily outline the registration procedures, eligibility requirements, and competition structure for the 2023 USA Ultimate Beach Championships this spring.

Notable Changes for 2023
- USA Ultimate will be adding two new divisions: Great Grand Masters Women’s and Grand Masters Mixed.
- Out of region player allowances will be slightly higher for all non-mixed divisions.
- For all mixed divisions, whichever gender-matching players have the majority on the starting line, a player of that gender-matching group must pull.
