Colorado Springs, Colo. (August 20, 2024)—Athletes interested in representing the United States at the 2025 WFDF World Beach Ultimate Championships (WBUC) may now apply for consideration through Friday, August 30th via USA Ultimate’s online application process.
A pair of tryouts will be hosted for players interested in competing on the mixed, open or women’s teams, while an application process will be used to select players to one of nine possible yet-to-be-determined, age-restricted masters categories.
For elite players, a west tryout will occur November 2-3, followed by an east tryout November 9-10 with specific locations to be decided at a later date. Tryouts will be led by head coaches Eileen Murray (mixed), Bryan Jones (open), and Samantha Broaddus (women), whose appointments were announced earlier this month.
The 2025 edition of WBUC will be held November 2-8 in Algarve, Portugal.
Eligible USA Ultimate members interested in applying for consideration should review the application procedures and complete the online application by Friday, August 30th.
