2025 World Games: Chengdu, China
Featuring a program of more than 30 diverse, eclectic and increasingly popular sports, the World Games is an 11-day, multisport event held every four years. It’s organized by the International World Games Association (IWGA) and supported by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The World Games represents the pinnacle of many amateur and non-Olympic sports, including ultimate.
A 14-person, mixed-gender Team USA is selected by USA Ultimate following an intense and competitive tryout process. After ultimate was added to the program in 2001, Team USA has struck gold in each on the last five editions (2005, 2009, 2013, 2017, 2022) and looks to defend its title when the Games return to Asia for the first time since 2009.
