Colorado Springs, Colo. (November 25, 2025)—USA Ultimate announced today the latest beneficiaries of its Youth Growth Grant program, awarding six recent applicants an additional $12,500 in funding for grassroots initiatives in their communities.
All totaled, USA has awarded approximately $60,000 to 18 different organizations since the program was introduced last year as a means to provide support for local communities seeking to increase local participation, reduce barriers of entry into the sport and support inclusivity – particularly at the youth level.
The latest recipients include Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts (ASMSA) Ultimate, The Austin Torch, Emerald Valley Ultimate, The Washington Area Frisbee Club (WAFC), Southern California Youth Ultimate, and the Environmental Charter School in Pittsburgh, PA.
The grants are funded by donations to The Ultimate Foundation and have been awarded to a wide range of applicants, including USA Ultimate affiliates, unaffiliated local disc organizations, public education institutions and semi-professional teams looking to expose the sport to more kids.
“The Youth department at USA Ultimate is thrilled to award another round of financial assistance to a variety of organizations dedicated to providing opportunities to strengthen and grow youth ultimate in their local communities,” said USA Ultimate Director of Youth Dan Raabe. “The nationwide interest in our Youth Growth Grants has been both remarkable and inspiring, and we are looking forward to enhancing the program to continue providing assistance to so many organizations that are passionate about growing the sport at the youth level.”
