Colorado Springs, Colo. (May 5, 2026) – Today USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport of ultimate in the United States and member of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, opens the voting window for the 2026 Callahan Award. Running May 5 through May 12, voting is open to all active college division players and can be accessed via their member account page.

Players have been nominated for this prestigious award by their teams or by USA Ultimate college regional directors. Eighty-two athletes have been nominated in the men’s division and 41 in the women’s. These nominees represent the best of college ultimate — demonstrating superior skill and athleticism, as well as outstanding sportsmanship, leadership and dedication to the sport. Following this voting period, finalists for each division will be shared Thursday, May 21. The 2026 winners will be announced live during an awards ceremony at the D-I College Championships on May 24.
