Access for All
USA Ultimate believes that every young person should have the opportunity to experience the joy of the sport, and that financial status should never be a barrier to participation. Play It Forward provides financial aid and membership support for youth from underserved communities. This program helps eliminate some of the financial barriers to playing ultimate including:
- USA Ultimate Membership Dues
- Youth Club Championship Player Fees
- Talent ID Camp Registration Fees
- U20 National Team Tryout Fees
USA Ultimate recognizes that coaches and organizations play a critical role in building trusting relationships with, and advocating on behalf of, youth players. USA Ultimate encourages coaches and organizers who seek to address and remove barriers for youth involvement to be Play it Forward Partners, and help us to identify and support youth participants who have financial need.
Request Assistance
Players are eligible for Play it Forward if they have not yet graduated from high school and are planning to participate in a USA Ultimate sanctioned or championship event. Individuals may apply at the link below. Coaches and local disc organizations are also encouraged to submit this application on behalf of their player(s) in need.

Soufend-bred June Rapisura details his experience growing up playing ultimate in Seattle, seeing his fellow Soufend role models grace the international field and then experiencing the opportunity to play for the U-20 National Team.

The Play it Forward program is funded by donations to the Ultimate Foundation.
Since the program’s inception, Play it Forward has supported over 2,150 youth.
