Chris Kocher

Biography

I grew up in Atlanta, Ga., and started playing ultimate at the Paideia School in junior high. In 2010, I moved to DC where I went to college at George Washington University. After graduating, and a few months of couch surfing, I moved to New York. I have been living in Brooklyn for the last two years where I currently work at a FinTech company called Stash Invest. In my spare time, I do my best to stay active and consider myself an above-average bowler.

I think everyone should watch the movie “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” and read “The Name of the Wind.” I am honored to be part of this team and to help represent the USA ultimate community throughout the World Games process.

Side note: I also hope to continue my streak of never losing in Mario Tennis to Jimmy.

Fun Facts about Chris:

  • The first time I met Dylan, he kissed me on the neck during a high school ultimate game.
  • I’ve climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.
  • I attended two years of circus camp.
