Becoming a USA Ultimate member comes with many benefits and helps support the continued growth of the ultimate sport.
Member dues help introduce the sport to more and more people, create a more equitable and inclusive community, educate and train coaches, develop a more robust national infrastructure of local disc organizations and much, much more.

Whether you are looking to play, coach, organize, officiate, volunteer, chaperone, watch or just generally support ultimate as fan or family member, there is a membership level designed for you.
BECOME A MEMBER TODAY
Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable and do not guarantee participation in events. Annual memberships are good through December 31 of the corresponding expiration year.
*As of December 1, 2021, USA Ultimate no longer has coach, coach and player, or friends and family memberships. Coach qualifications and certifications can be added on to any other membership type, including the new non-player membership level.

FAQs
Are memberships refundable or transferable?
No, USA Ultimate memberships are not refundable nor transferable. Memberships are not tied directly to a specific event or program.
Member dues help support USA Ultimate’s many efforts and programs designed to advance the sport at all levels across the nation.
Can I upgrade my membership?
Yes. You can upgrade an annual membership from one type or duration to a higher one, as long as you upgrade for all remaining years of your current membership.
You cannot upgrade from a player membership to a non-player membership (i.e., coach and player to just a coach membership).
If you have a multi-year membership and are not in the first year, email your upgrade request to info@hq.usaultimate.org. You will receive an invoice for the difference in cost of the memberships. Once you complete the payment, let us know via email, and we’ll manually upgrade your membership.
Are memberships tax deductible?
No. USA Ultimate memberships are not tax deductible. Memberships automatically come with benefits, which means they are not deductible according to IRS rules.
Any donations to the Ultimate Foundation are tax deductible!
What if I can’t access my account?
If you forgot your username or password, simply request a reset. If you no longer have access to the email associated with your account, contact us at info@hq.usaultimate.org with your name and birthdate, and we’ll reset your account.
